Booklist Review

Previously published by Morgan Quinto and now available from CQ Press, this guide analyzes FBI crime statistics and ranks U.S. cities with populations of 75,000 and more. Cities are ranked by crime rates overall as well as by rates for aggravated assault, murder, robbery, and other types of crime. Based on the statistics (2006 figures were used for this edition), Mission Viejo, California, is the safest city, and Detroit, Michigan, is the most dangerous although you're more likely to have your car stolen in Los Angeles.--Quinn, Mary Ellen Copyright 2008 Booklist
