Author Notes

Jim Harran and his wife Susan have been researching, collecting, and writing about antiques for many years. As an antique dealer, Harran covers shows and auctions for the magazine Antique Week. He also writes feature articles on antiques and a monthly column called "The World of Ceramics."

A specialist in antique cups and saucers, Harran saw a real need for a good reference book on the subject. Together with his wife, Harran wrote the book Collectible Cups and Saucers. With over 400 full-color photographs, the reference guide is written with the collector in mind and provides information on how cups and saucers were made and decorated, manufacturer's information, and helpful facts such as dates and current values. Collectible Cups and Saucers is for the beginner cup and saucer collector as well as the advanced collector, dealer, or appraiser.
