School Library Journal Review

Gr 2-5-An above-average instructional book featuring 20 monster-themed crafts for kids who enjoy anything creepy, crawly, or just plain fun. From the grossly gooey "Slimy Monster Mitt Puppet" to the wonderfully bloody "Dracula Soap Dispenser," these projects are to wear, share, and scare. Clearly written, step-by-step instructions that utilize common household materials are accompanied by amusing, well-rendered, colorful illustrations that add to the enjoyment. From a master of craft books for kids, this is a welcome choice for all collections.-Teri Markson, Stephen S. Wise Temple Elementary School, Los Angeles (c) Copyright 2010.
