Mike Wise joined the New York Times sports staff in 1994 and has won six national writing awards in the past five years. He is one of the nation's most respected NBA writers; beyond profiling the league's most prominent stars, Wise has also written about boxing and baseball for the newspaper. He lives in New York City.
Frank Isola has won three national writing awards for his outstanding beat coverage of the NBA.
