From the prolific authors of The Great Ribs Book and numerous other titles, here are recipes for 100 easy appetizers, and ideas for even more. Many of them can be made in minutes and most can be prepared completely in advance. Martha Stewart's much more ambitious Hors d'Oeuvres Handbook (LJ 3/15/99) is the definitive book on this subject, but anyone who entertains will appreciate Carpenter and Sandison's quick and sophisticated recipes.
