Library Journal Review

Carrie Holt has forced herself to forget her childhood, even going so far as to change her name. However, when she's asked to speak at a festival in her hometown, Carrie comes face-to-face with the very man who molested her as a child. Although Carrie wants to kill her tormentor, a television celebrity who is on his way to becoming the next Mr. Rogers, she discovers that Detective Nicky D'Amico has other plans for him. Brutal scenes of child molestation are a part of this unflinching account of one woman's attempts to confront her past. A deft handling of a controversial subject.
