Choice Review

Put together for the first time, the information from very diverse areas of managing technology makes this book very valuable. Distributed under seven sections with 22 chapters, each of which is divided into several topics, there is very little that a technology manager in government, industry, or education cannot find in this book, at least to make a beginning in solving problems at hand. There are contributions from more than 200 experts and the material is structured such that anyone, whether mature manager or novice, will find something useful or interesting. Each of the 200-plus articles is complete in itself; definitions, some descriptions, and references for further reading are provided. A worthy contribution, as are many titles from CRC Press, this volume will be a valuable addition to college and professional libraries. Recommended. General readers; graduates through professionals.
