On Order

This text explores over 100 incidents of little-known stories of clandestine manoeuvres, sabotage, spying, propaganda, bribery, code-breaking, kidnappings and other bizarre plots conducted in the years leading up to and through World War II. The stories are vivid, fast-paced and dramatic. Breuer has collected information from personal interviews, official archives, declassified documents, books, articles and magazines. They are written in an easy-to-digest, accessible style showing how secret actions helped to shape the outcome of the war.
