Author Notes

Frank Holan, a life-long fisherman, earned a Ph.B. at Marquette University and an M.A. at the University of Wisconsin. During twenty years of service in the Armed Forces, mostly in the Air Force, he had access to a variety of waters, fishing fresh-and salt water from British Columbia to the Gulf of Mexico and from Idaho to New England. He currently lives and fishes in Vermont.
