Summary

The final volume in Bowles's three-volume survey of his garden through the year. Facing the unwelcome advent of Winter, Bowles notes the decline of many treasured plants we have come to know in the previous volumes.

Library Journal Review

This title marked the third installation in Bowles's year-long observations that began with My Garden in Spring and My Garden in Summer. Though concentrating on what primarily is the dormant time of the year, the author contends that gardens nonetheless need to be maintained in the colder months. Since plants are still plants and dirt is still dirt, this 1915 volume will continue to bear fruit in appropriate collections. (c) Copyright 2010.
