School Library Journal Review

Gr 1-2 Large, clear, full-color photos and a readable text combine to create a brief, informative title about modern dairy farming. Two sentences per page describe the various tasks and operations necessary to operate the Koebels' dairy farm near Three Oaks, MI. The print is large and inviting to beginning readers. Unfamiliar terms are explained in simple terms. Photos are obviously posed, but are nonetheless appealing. Some of the terminology is used rather loosely but this is still one of the best books available on this topic for this audience. Eldon Younce, Harper Elementary School, KS (c) Copyright 2010.
